Performing Tai Chi Kung Fu Fan太極功夫扇--- this posture is called Golden rooster stands on one leg 獨立開扇 --- this is a Tai Chi Exercise which needs a good balance and equilibrium in order to reach the posture required. With the left root of palm pushing upward, right wrist power opening the fan inward, standing on left leg with the right knee above the waist level. After practicing Tai Chi empty hands for 18 months (1 hour minimum a day), one can handle the Tai Chi Fan technique with additional 15 hours learning. The more rapid movement shows the combination of slow motion Tai Chi and Shaolin boxing martial arts. There is a lot of speedy twisting, turning, bending, spinning movements without losing the balance.

It requires all the empty hands postures of Tai Chi well coordinated in order to have a good presentation. Different Taichi styles are taught in the classes, including Taichi Barehands, Taichi swords, sabres, staffs, short staffs, fans...etc....
WINNER OF NUMEROS MARTIAL ARTS COMPETITIONS IN USA AND CHINA.Sifu Jason Leung teaches Tai chi in the traditional Yang style, as well as the Chinese National competition forms of Chan, Wu, Wu(Hao), Sun and Yang style. Other styles and forms include the use of instruments such as the Taichi sabre, sword, long staff, short staff, fan, and qigong. In 2010 Sifu Jason Leung co-organized World Taichi Day, which promotes Taichi as a form of exercise. He was acknowledged by Mayor Annise D. Parker of Houston with a certificate of proclamation. Three Tai Chi Workshops were organized with attendants from different sectors of Houston Community.
